Tickle’s came to us with a very particular goal, to get the word out about closing their 30 year boutique shop to the masses. They were looking to work with an experienced, creative marketing and advertising in Rhode Island or Massachusetts. But they didn’t want to close in any ole way, but rather build excitement around it as more of a farewell than a goodbye. And of course, they plan to continue expanding The Aviary restaurant right next door. We worked to roll out the big news by designing and executing different design, website and marketing and advertising services. We created in-store signage, newspaper ads, social media collateral, and even helped put together a farewell video. A combination of 8.5x11 and 11x17 posters were designed to communicate the farewell sale, percentage off, and promote the brands offered in-store. The 11x17 brand posters were designed to clearly identify sections in the store and the percentage off on products as inventory sells. From creative elements and website design to traditional and digital advertising collateral, we worked to provide rebranding services to Ken Rocha Collision to better position them in the auto service industry. Logo Design: First things first: freshen up their outdated logo. We designed several logos for Ken Rocha Collision to choose from ranging from modern styles to more sharp designs. The logo they chose is accurately reflects their values as an auto and collision shop. This modernized logo represents movement and speed with the sleek car image emphasizing their fast repair service. And the final logo is… drum roll please! Here it is! The final logo renditions were designed in inverse colors so they can be applied universally for white or black backgrounds. Slogan: Now that they chose a modernized logo design as a part of their branding, it was time to pick a catchy slogan. After developing a number of clever slogans. Here’s a few we came up with: One call will fix it all We strive for a safe drive Car repair that’s fast and lasts Your #1 repair decision Your go to decision for everything collision They decided to go with “your go-to decision for everything collision.” Once they chose the slogan they liked, we began implementing it into some of their marketing collateral and creative design. We were excited to begin working with Prestige Auto Mart including three great locations including East Providence, Westport, and Taunton! The owner & founder of the dealership, Manny Sarmento, has a funny, light hearted personality and loves to go out of the box to make viewers laugh so we knew there was opportunity to be creative and effective by adding some new ideas.  This family owned dealership focuses on the sales and services of used vehicles including sedans, SUVs, minivans, hatchbacks, and other luxury brands like BMW, Mercedes, and Audi. They have been open for over 15 years and have certainly made a name for themselves already. DDL Advertising helped execute the following launching just in time for summer. A zoned cable buy focused on specific concentrated areas including the Attleboro, Providence, Warwick, and Fall River zones with Cox Communications. Plus a presence on local radio stations Cat Country and Lite 105 FM that also includes some social media marketing. This was combined with traditional radio they have already been doing on other well known local radio stations. Cat Country 98.1 helped execute a successful social media and traditional plan Social Media Campaign: We got Jake the Cat involved by partnering Prestige Auto with Cat Country 98.1 WCTK-FM radio! In this collaboration, Cat Country proposed a great concept in which Manny helps Jake shop for a car at Prestige, promoted on social media. In this comedic campaign, Jake shops the lot and finds the perfect vehicle, but upon purchase, he doesn’t have a license which makes sense since cats can’t drive! Chow Fun Food Group Digital Campaign

We successfully ran several digital marketing campaigns for XO Cafe and Ten Prime, a restaurant that is part of the Chow Fun Food Group, a family of Rhode Island’s best restaurants.   In the beginning of December, we were tasked with creating a series of digital campaigns to drive customers to the Chow Fun Food Group restaurants, with an emphasis on XO Cafe and Ten Prime. We designed graphically appealing sliders promoting their gift cards, accepted at any of their family of restaurants, private parties, New Year’s Eve reservations, and 20 year anniversary reservations with exclusive 1997 menu prices.   The private party campaign did not perform as well as anticipated, so we shifted the budget over to optimize gift card promotion. We shifted dollars according to best performance and optimized the budget to deliver the most effective KPI. Results revealed over 72 reservations booked with 210 covers. In a year over year analysis, there was an increase in 9 overall reservations with 27 more covers, resulting in a ratio of 3 covers to 1 reservation. Total reach exceeded 65,000 people with 166,000+ impressions. We ran two different creatives for the “dine like it’s 1997” campaign, one being static and the other a video slider ad. Both ad sets were successful in delivery, but the video slideshow outperformed with higher link clicks and a lower cost per link click, delivering slightly better results than the static ad. We are ending the year on the right foot with the launch of two website redesigns we have been working on diligently for The Coalition for Social Justice and Uncle Tony’s Pizza & Pasta.   The Coalition for Social Justice is a company that stands for social change in low income communities of color that may be excluded from the economic benefits offered in the current system. Their actions are embedded in the principles of unity, multi-issue, and power at the grassroots. They aim to develop leadership and build campaigns that address economic issues that these communities face. Their new website reflected their values and mission to serve the community and acted as a strong middle ground with any and all information sought out by visitors.     Uncle Tony’s Pizza is a pizza restaurant currently located in East Providence, Johnston, and Cranston. With their first location opened in North Providence in 1969, they have since expanded but still continue to offer the same delicious dishes to the community from pizza to pasta. Their previous website was outdated and did not present their food options to their best potential. For restaurants in particular, it is important to include visuals of food offerings to further entice customers’ interest. Customers are visual and prefer to see the food they can enjoy to get a taste of what it is like! The new website redesign allowed for better user functionality including separate pages for each location and an easily accessible way to contact the restaurant.     Both sites were outdated and desperately needed a refresher. Social Media Success for L&S

DDL Advertising began working with L&S Automotive Repair located in East Greenwich at the beginning of 2017. We were tasked to take over their social media management, social media buying, and graphic design and have since rendered significant growth from many aspects.  Their Facebook page has a tremendous increase in likes and overall reach and engagement. We ran ads on both desktop and mobile devices promoting L&S Automotive to further increase awareness with 98,000 unique reach, 627,000 impressions, a CPM of $6.92, and 3000 clicks.   Although it was a cost effective budget, we believe this success has come from a consistent social media presence with organic and paid ads. We have included a mix of brand, company culture, and current offers in social media posts to further attract and engage customers. The paid ads were strategically targeted geographically and demographically with men and women ranging from ages 18+, 25+, and 65+ throughout a 10 mile radius, select cities, and the U.S.   Here is some of our creative including a commercial that was sponsored on Facebook.      Below is some of the photography taken at the shop photoshoot. The owner of this local auto repair company, Lenny Lafleur, shared the success from a sales standpoint. “In a year to year comparison from Quarter 4 of 2016 to 2017, sales have gone up by 20% and September and November were historically record months.
