Coalition for Social Justice & Uncle Tony’s Pizza

Coalition for Social Justice & Uncle Tony’s Pizza

We are ending the year on the right foot with the launch of two website redesigns we have been working on diligently for The Coalition for Social Justice and Uncle Tony’s Pizza & Pasta.   The Coalition for Social Justice is a company that stands for social change in low income communities of color that may be excluded from the economic benefits offered in the current system. Their actions are embedded in the principles of unity, multi-issue, and power at the grassroots. They aim to develop leadership and build campaigns that address economic issues that these communities face. Their new website reflected their values and mission to serve the community and acted as a strong middle ground with any and all information sought out by visitors.     Uncle Tony’s Pizza is a pizza restaurant currently located in East Providence, Johnston, and Cranston. With their first location opened in North Providence in 1969, they have since expanded but still continue to offer the same delicious dishes to the community from pizza to pasta. Their previous website was outdated and did not present their food options to their best potential. For restaurants in particular, it is important to include visuals of food offerings to further entice customers’ interest. Customers are visual and prefer to see the food they can enjoy to get a taste of what it is like! The new website redesign allowed for better user functionality including separate pages for each location and an easily accessible way to contact the restaurant.     Both sites were outdated and desperately needed a refresher. We redesigned two all new websites...
Social Media Success for L&S

Social Media Success for L&S

DDL Advertising began working with L&S Automotive Repair located in East Greenwich at the beginning of 2017. We were tasked to take over their social media management, social media buying, and graphic design and have since rendered significant growth from many aspects.  Their Facebook page has a tremendous increase in likes and overall reach and engagement. We ran ads on both desktop and mobile devices promoting L&S Automotive to further increase awareness with 98,000 unique reach, 627,000 impressions, a CPM of $6.92, and 3000 clicks.   Although it was a cost effective budget, we believe this success has come from a consistent social media presence with organic and paid ads. We have included a mix of brand, company culture, and current offers in social media posts to further attract and engage customers. The paid ads were strategically targeted geographically and demographically with men and women ranging from ages 18+, 25+, and 65+ throughout a 10 mile radius, select cities, and the U.S.   Here is some of our creative including a commercial that was sponsored on Facebook.      Below is some of the photography taken at the shop photoshoot. The owner of this local auto repair company, Lenny Lafleur, shared the success from a sales standpoint. “In a year to year comparison from Quarter 4 of 2016 to 2017, sales have gone up by 20% and September and November were historically record months. We love working with DDL Advertising and feel they have contributed to some of our growth.”   In addition, we conducted a photoshoot at the auto shop to gain more inventory on services offered...
Season’s Kick for Kids

Season’s Kick for Kids

Seasons Corner Market is an up and rising gas convenience store chain located at Shell stations throughout New England. They have negotiated plans to open a total of 40 stores by the end of 2018 and pride themselves on cleanliness and a positive shopping experience.   DDL Advertising helped partner Seasons Corner Market with Stephen Gostkowski’s Kick for Kids Challenge fundraiser that benefits children and families at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. We provided services in strategic media buying and planning, sponsorship involvement, video production, and linking Season’s with community involvement. Gotkowski established this fundraiser in 2012 and has since raised $145,000+ for children at Hasbro.   Since cause marketing is highly beneficial in gaining credibility and loyalty in the marketplace, it was sensible to establish this community branding campaign to leverage Season’s community involvement and cause marketing contributions. In 2018, Seasons will host a two hour event at one of their locations to promote the partnership cause with the community, families, and friends with a special appearance from Gostkowski himself. We combined promotional announcements with a bank of their own brand messaging spots on WPRO-FM, WWKX, and WWLI. The campaign will run October through February of 2018 with traditional advertising methods totaling 120 spots per month. Airing on these local radio stations provided a total reach of 650,000+ each week. During the Patriots In-Season and Pre-Season games, WPRO-AM aired a :30 radio spot. In addition, logo and digital click through was measured through social media contacts and sponsorship materials.   Gotkowski’s contributions gave Seasons a competitive advantage with a new promotional video and incentives. His video aired on gas...

Antonio’s Pizza By The Slice – New Location Promotion

Antonio’s Pizza By The Slice – New Location Promotion

Antonio’s Pizza first opened up in 1991 in Amherst to serve the vast amount of college students in what is known as the five college area. Fast forward 26 years later and the well known pizza shop just opened its eighth location in Newport. DDL Advertising has been working with Antonios for several years and although they have locations nationwide from Rhode Island to Texas, we were ready to tackle the task of spreading the word Antonios Pizza by the Slice opened its third location in Rhode Island.   We chose to include a marketing mix of traditional and new age approaches.  Local town newspapers were an obvious choice. We focused primarily on South County publications that were subscription based. Ads ran in Narragansett Times, Newport This Week, East Bay papers and more.  They also received feature stories as added value in a couple of the publications.     Radio was added using 92 Pro FM. We combined live read endorsements with PM DJ Davey Morris with 30 second produced spots to add reach and frequency. We even invited Davey to Antonios to try the food and experience what the brand was all about.  Check out some of the pics and listen to the live read.       https://1jg7kbl16zz43v4ev2toxyg1-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/ANTONIOSPIAZZA071917.mp3     In addition to the live reads and recorded spots we also integrated a social media and community related promotion. Where Davey is asks listeners to submit each Friday on FB for a friend they want to help and feed a meal to from Antonio’s Pizza. The winner will receive a $100 gift card to Antonios.    ...
Seasons Corner Market – Watch Your Dimes Turn to Dollars

Seasons Corner Market – Watch Your Dimes Turn to Dollars

DDL Advertising has a wide repertoire of clients from various industries. One of our current clients is Seasons Corner Market. Seasons has recently launched an exciting new campaign that gives customers the chance to save money while filling up on gas.   Seasons Corner Market and DDL Advertising worked together to come up with the campaign logo “Watch your dimes turn to dollars”. The logo is clever in that it alerts Seasons’ customers of the ability to save money on gas while also enjoying various items at the corner store.   This special offer launches April 4th and will run until the end of May. The deals are Mondays through Thursdays, each day featuring a different product.  Each time a customer purchases the days’ corresponding product, they receive ten cents off per gallon of gas. The customer has the option of purchasing multiple items-of-the-day, allowing their gas price to be further lowered. DDL Advertising has had a monumental role in all aspects of the campaign. We’ve proposed several ways for Seasons’ customers to gain awareness of the incentives. Such proposals include elements like the name of the campaign, the individual day slogans, design specifications, and the spot that will run at every gas pump. In doing these things, DDL’s goal was to intrigue the customer through stimuli-advertising. We are also running a social media and digital campaign to spread the word! This type of advertising requires fun and creativity – that’s why DDL Advertising loves it so much! Check out all of the design elements the team created and make sure to stop in and benefit from this special...
