DDL Sails Boaters to East Greenwich Marina

DDL Sails Boaters to East Greenwich Marina

East Greenwich Marina called us onboard to help with website improvements, SEO, and run paid Facebook ads to push their boat slips before the summer season. We first ran a full website audit to determine how their site ranked and where there was room for improvement. The website audit revealed several areas we could improve upon so they could raise their organic rank above competitors. To begin, we conducted in-depth research about the boating industry and analyzed competitor sites to determine how they stack up against them. We saw an opportunity to leverage their website content by writing valuable, SEO friendly content centered around what makes their marina different. We also designed branded page headers that were placed on each page of their website. This creative branding element added a bit more character and personality to the site. Branded page headers designed to go on the top of website pages In addition, we made some adjustments to the format of the site including things like the navigation, page names, and images to dress it up. We added an FAQ page to leverage the opportunity to answer questions boaters may have and a blog page to begin developing a content strategy. New Home page Facebook Ads Campaign: In the midst of spicing up their website, we also launched a Facebook Ads campaign using a lead gen objective, promoting their boat slip special to push the remaining slips before the summer season begins. A Slam Dunk for Longplex

A Slam Dunk for Longplex

Earlier this year, the much anticipated, massive 187,000 square foot facility everyone sees while driving by Route 24, in Tiverton, RI, opened. Right now, the first floor is fully operational with numerous hard courts, turf fields, and in-line/ dek courts, are open for play. As time progresses, there is so much more to come such as a full kitchen and bar, 10,000 square foot gym, conference rooms, indoor running track, arcade, and more. Not to mention, the 35 acres outside will be providing sports fanatics all sorts of physical fun. We have been more than honored to be part of this project since the very beginning when it was only a lightbulb of an idea. We have helped in so many ways and will continue to assist as Longplex grows!  It was over four years ago that we were approached by the owner, who was looking for an agency to help bring his dream into a reality. Our first task was to help find the perfect name for this soon to be massive facility. After several creative names, Longplex Family & Sports Center was chosen. Next, it was time to bring the name to life from designing their logo, a website, and preparing a full marketing plan to spread awareness and build excitement about the opening of this great facility. During the design phase, we stuck with their vision for a royal blue color scheme and incorporated this within their marketing collateral. Royal blue color scheme reflective of their vision We designed a primary mark logo that will be used the most consistently and a secondary mark with their...
Tickle’s Says Toodles

Tickle’s Says Toodles

Tickle’s came to us with a very particular goal, to get the word out about closing their 30 year boutique shop to the masses. They were looking to work with an experienced, creative marketing and advertising in Rhode Island or Massachusetts. But they didn’t want to close in any ole way, but rather build excitement around it as more of a farewell than a goodbye. And of course, they plan to continue expanding The Aviary restaurant right next door. We worked to roll out the big news by designing and executing different design, website and marketing and advertising services. We created in-store signage, newspaper ads, social media collateral, and even helped put together a farewell video. Tickle’s Farewell Video Shoot in Swansea, MA Tickle’s video shoot Lynne & Jack Tickle express their gratitude toward their loyal customers for 30 years of wonderful memories in their farewell video below. This video was later used organically on their social media and as their Facebook cover photo. Tickle’s farewell video Graphic Design Showcasing In-Store Signage What’s a farewell sale without in-store signage? Our Design Ninja next designed in-store signage with a playful holiday feel since the sale is set to run through the Christmas season. A combination of 8.5x11 and 11x17 posters were designed to communicate the farewell sale, percentage off, and promote the brands offered in-store. The 11x17 brand posters were designed to clearly identify sections in the store and the percentage off on products as inventory sells. These were then printed by a local print shop in North Providence, Rhode Island.  The signs below were designed to allow for placement of...

Ken Rocha Collision Gets You Back on the Road

From creative elements and website design to traditional and digital advertising collateral, we worked to provide rebranding services to Ken Rocha Collision to better position them in the auto service industry. DDL Puts a Dent in Brand Redesign

DDL Puts a Dent in Brand Redesign

DDL Advertising recently started working with a very successful international company known as Dent Concepts. Since its conception almost 20 years ago, they have made quite a name for themselves in the Paintless Dent Repair industry. Currently, Dent Concepts is used by all of the nations top insurance companies such as Liberty Mutual, Allstate, Geico and more. Headquartered in Nashville, TN, the successful PDR company originally opened their doors locally right in North Providence, RI. As the company continued to grow so rapidly, some of the brand management and consistency seemed to slip through the cracks as their team was caught up in the day to day responsibilities of fixing tens of thousand of dents all over the world. These dents are primarily a result form destructive and catastrophic weather. So when we received a call from them that they needed some assistance, we were thrilled and ready to tackle some of their challenges. We started with some vital and necessary Basic 101 brand redesign beginning with signage and on site presence with disaster centers. Currently, they have a 40 foot response unit trailer that they set up shop with on site. We helped add some flag and sky poles to really get them to stand out to prospective customers trying to get there. Trailers at disaster centers  Overhead view of trailers at disaster centers        24 flag poles and sky poles   Another immediate objective was to upgrade and redesign all of the Dent Concepts marketing collateral. A lot changed over the last decade they were in business, so a refresh was necessary. Part of the company’s success...
Chow Fun Food Group Digital Campaign

Chow Fun Food Group Digital Campaign

We successfully ran several digital marketing campaigns for XO Cafe and Ten Prime, a restaurant that is part of the Chow Fun Food Group, a family of Rhode Island’s best restaurants.   In the beginning of December, we were tasked with creating a series of digital campaigns to drive customers to the Chow Fun Food Group restaurants, with an emphasis on XO Cafe and Ten Prime. We designed graphically appealing sliders promoting their gift cards, accepted at any of their family of restaurants, private parties, New Year’s Eve reservations, and 20 year anniversary reservations with exclusive 1997 menu prices.   The private party campaign did not perform as well as anticipated, so we shifted the budget over to optimize gift card promotion. We shifted dollars according to best performance and optimized the budget to deliver the most effective KPI. Results revealed over 72 reservations booked with 210 covers. In a year over year analysis, there was an increase in 9 overall reservations with 27 more covers, resulting in a ratio of 3 covers to 1 reservation. Total reach exceeded 65,000 people with 166,000+ impressions. We ran two different creatives for the “dine like it’s 1997” campaign, one being static and the other a video slider ad. Both ad sets were successful in delivery, but the video slideshow outperformed with higher link clicks and a lower cost per link click, delivering slightly better results than the static ad. Above is our ad design for their “Dine Like It’s 1997” 20 Year Anniversary promotion. This was a unique way to drive customers to the restaurant with exclusive prices and gourmet dinners....
